Can CPR® technicians only repair cell phones or can they repair other electronic devices as well?

What does the repair estimate include?

The repair price estimate includes both replacement parts and labor.

What does the CPR® limited lifetime warranty cover?

CPR’s limited lifetime warranty covers defects in the parts that we install as well as the labor associated with the repair . The warranty does not cover issues caused by physical or liquid damage.

Why is my phone slower after updating to the newest version of software?

Older devices have been known to slow down if a recent software update has been installed because the phone’s hardware is not equipped to support the new features of the operating system.

What should I do if I drop my phone in water?

After you’ve removed your device from the liquid, dry the outside of the phone being careful to not press any buttons. If possible, remove the battery to decrease the likelihood of a short.

Am I expected to pay for the repair before or is payment due upon receipt?

Since every kind of repair we perform is different, payment is due upon receipt.

Can CPR® backup data on my device?

Yes! If you want to backup data stored on your device, you have come to the right place! CPR® technicians provide data backup, data recovery, and data transfer services to ensure you don’t lose any of it.

When should a phone's battery be replaced?

The typical cell phone battery begins to deteriorate after 400 charging cycles. The average user will reach this point after 1-2 years of regular usage. Learn more about CPR’s battery replacement services.

If I currently have a warranty protection on my device, will any repairs you do make my warranty void?

When your item becomes damaged, your warranty protection becomes void.

If I really need my item repaired as quickly as possible, how can I be sure your mail-in services are fast enough?

Typically most mail-in repairs are completed within 48 hours. If you need your item sent back in a faster manner than regular mail services, let our staff know and we will be able to send your item back to you by priority shipping with an extra cost.

My phone doesn't charge. How can I tell if it's the battery or charge port?

If your phone does not charge altogether, check to see if the port is loose or dirty. If it’s loose or dirty, you will most likely need a charging port replacement. If an aux cord can be firmly plugged in, you are most likely experiencing a battery issue.

What is the success rate of water damage repair?

Typically we have a water damage repair success rate of 75% percent, though nothing is guaranteed to work and there is no warranty included.

Does CPR® sell parts or tools?

CPR® does not sell parts or tools. We only sell refurbished electronics, tech accessories, and of course offer repairs

What does CPR® recycle?

While CPR® mainly recycles cell phones and cell phone batteries, we will accept most small electronics for recycle including game systems, computers, laptops, televisions, and tablets. Learn more about recycling electronics with CPR®.

I found a repair for cheaper. Why should I choose CPR®?
